Reflecting on the past year, it’s hard to believe how quickly 2024 has flown by. It’s been an eventful and exciting year, full of challenges and opportunities. The job market remained tight for much of the year, but in recent months, we’ve seen a surge in opportunities, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done for our clients and the lives we’ve been able to impact through our services.

I hope you’ve had a chance to watch the latest episode of the FSG Podcast featuring guest Dan Stover. In our conversation, we discussed a deeply resonating topic: stagnation is the quiet career killer. As a firm, we are committed to evolving, growing, and looking for new ways to serve our community. I’m excited about what 2025 holds and how we can continue making a positive impact.

Gratitude for 2024
Thank you to all the clients and candidates we’ve had the privilege to serve this year. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited about the new possibilities and continued collaboration. 2024 has been a year of growth and success, and we’re eager to see what more we can achieve together.

Some highlights for us this year include building dynamic sales teams for both established companies and growing startups. We’ve enjoyed working with businesses poised for remarkable success in 2025 and beyond.

We also launched the FSG video podcast in March, which has been an incredible journey. With four amazing guests sharing their expertise and insights, hosting such enlightening conversations has been a privilege.

And thanks to your support, our YouTube channel is about to reach 2,000 subscribers. We’ve been sharing job opportunities through unique 1-minute video introductions, and the combination of content we’ve created has resonated with many. We appreciate everyone who has joined us on this journey!

Key Initiatives for 2025
We’re excited to announce some key services we’re offering in the coming year. Did you know that, over the next decade, nearly half of the workforce will be contractors? According to a recent article from Business Insider, the middle management layer has been significantly reduced, and this shift isn’t likely to reverse anytime soon.

In response to this evolving landscape, we’re expanding our services to include contract (temporary) staffing. We’ve seen an increase in requests for this type of staffing in the past year, and we’re now pleased to offer this alongside our full-time, direct-hire placement services.

Let’s Talk About Your Hiring Needs
I invite you to reach out if you’re preparing for the new year and looking to discuss your hiring needs. Whether you’re a company needing top talent or a professional exploring new opportunities, let’s connect and see how we can help you thrive in 2025.

Now is also the perfect time to take stock of your own skillset, job satisfaction, and overall happiness. Practicing gratitude is always important, and as we approach the holiday season, I encourage you to reflect on how we can all continue to grow and improve.

I’m deeply grateful for our clients, candidates, and all the wonderful people in the FSG community. It’s an honor to serve you, and I’m excited to continue supporting your journey in 2025.

Wishing you all a healthy, safe, and reflective holiday season. I look forward to partnering with you in the year ahead!
